Astell&Kern Dock PEM13

The cradle that adds XLR output to AK300-series players

Astell&Kern Dock PEM13 is the dedicated cradle for AK380 and compatible AK300-series players, combining charging with balanced XLR analogue output.

It is more than a resting stand: once the player is docked and the rear clamp is raised, audio is routed through the XLR outputs. The cradle also provides a dedicated AK CD-Ripper connection and USB charging for the installed player.

Key features

• Dedicated cradle for AK380 and compatible AK300-series players.
• Stereo balanced XLR analogue outputs.
• Dedicated connection for AK CD-Ripper.
• USB connection for player charging.
• Aluminium construction.
• Rear locking mechanism activates the cradle audio path.

From portable player to home system

PEM13 allows the player to operate as a desktop source connected to an amplifier or preamplifier with XLR inputs. It is particularly useful for users who want the same DAP on the move and in the main system without reconnecting analogue cables directly to the player each time.
