Nordost Valhalla 2 Interconnect Cable

Nordost Valhalla 2: analog interconnect cable

Valhalla 2 is the analog interconnect of the Nordost Reference line. It is made up of ten solid-core conductors in 99.999999% pure oxygen-free copper, of optimised diameter, each one coated with 85 microns of silver. The surface is polished and treated before it receives the Dual Mono-Filament wrap; every conductor is then sheathed in an extruded FEP tube.

The ten tubes are joined with a proprietary technique to form a cable of tubular section, wrapped in a double layer of silver-plated shielding. The signal travels at more than 87% of the speed of light, across a wide bandwidth and with minimal phase shift. Every cable is assembled by hand with HOLO:PLUG connectors.
