Power Conditioner. It improves the performance and power reserve of any hi-fi equipment used. Filter with coverage field greater than 23 octaves for the suppression of differential type noise. Patented technology for noise dissipation to the ground. Non-invasive, audibly transparent system for surge protection by disconnection and transient suppression. Outputs: Sources (7); High current (2). Positioning both horizontally and vertically.
Niagara 1200 was born from the experience gained with the Niagara 1000 product and I improved its already excellent characteristics. The most noticeable difference between the Niagara 1000 and 1200, other than the 1200's distinctive textured finish, are the form factor, which is now much more ergonomic; moreover, the weight in the new version reaches the values of a true hi-end component.
The ergonomic peculiarity of Niagara 1200, as we said, arises from the particular form factor that allows the product to be placed on a plane like a normal audio component, with all the input and output cables in the rear part; or it can also be used "face down" with the power outlets on top, which is very useful when you want to place the Niagara 1200 between your audio components and the rear wall. Furthermore, Niagara 1200 is also designed to stand on its side, which is very convenient in small spaces.
Compared to the product from which it derives, a second high-current socket has been added; this allows owners of subwoofers and monophonic amplifiers to avoid annoying connection acrobatics.
Like the Niagara 1000 , Niagara 5000 and Niagara 7000, the Niagara 1200 uses a technology based on capacitor banks, which significantly improve linearity and minimize distortion. Wiring uses ultra-low resistance solid-core conductors optimized for low-noise directionality, low-impedance input and output jack contacts with thick dip silver plating over high-purity beryllium copper to ensure excellent noise dissipation.
The Niagara 1200 includes AudioQuest's ground noise dissipation system, with linear coverage of over 18 octaves. Like all products in the Niagara series, the 1200 features the exclusive non-destructive overcurrent protection with automatic reset load shedding; this ensures that all audio/video components are fully protected from power line surges.
