Quoted on-axis response is 120 Hz to 21 kHz within ±3 dB, and at 30° off axis it reaches 15 kHz inside that tolerance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe active section comprises a 25 mm S-PAL dome tweeter in anodised pure aluminium with ferrofluid, shielded by a perforated aluminium mesh with a built-in phase ring and cooled by an extruded aluminium heat sink, and two 114 mm midrange\/bass units. These have a one-piece anodised cone, a 37 mm aluminium voice coil for high temperatures, a Nomex spider, a nitrile rubber surround and a neodymium magnet on a finned steel basket. The four passive units, also 114 mm, use that type of cone too and are precisely tuned. The crossover works at 2.6 kHz.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cabinet is moulded polymer and, bracket included, stands 4.4 cm proud of the wall, so it stays in line with a wall-hung television. Two of them cover the left and right channels of a two-channel system; adding a third speaker as a centre gives a uniform front stage. As an alternative to wall fixing, it can stand on furniture using the supports in the box.
