The 38 mm voice coils are wound in eight layers of copper on heat-resistant polyamide formers and the magnets are ferrite. Added together, the two cones shift more air than a single 25 cm woofer. Response runs from 30 to 190 Hz within ±3 dB and bass extension reaches 25 Hz (DIN).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAn external amplifier of between 50 and 800 W is needed, and the subwoofer withstands up to 400 W. In distributed audio systems it can be driven from an Anthem MDX amplifier's bridged output, using its bass management, DSP profiles and ARC Genesis correction. The stamped steel chassis and baffle, with die-cast aluminium clamps, make for a rigid fixing.
