nordost-heimdall-2-cavo-di-alimentazione
Nordost Heimdall 2 Power Cord

Nordost Heimdall 2: three-conductor Norse 2 power cord

Heimdall 2 is a power cord from the Norse 2 series. The Micro Mono-Filament construction developed by Nordost surrounds every conductor with a virtual dielectric of air and holds it in a suspension system. Together with solid-core conductors in silver-plated OFC copper and FEP insulation, this gives a structure controlled both electrically and mechanically, suited to fast, low-impedance transfer of current and voltage.

This geometry is also effective at dissipating the mechanical energy carried by the mains line, which would otherwise reach the electronics and slow their dynamic response. Design and materials are the same throughout the Norse 2 series, so a whole system can be wired consistently, from the wall socket to the loudspeaker terminals.

Technical features

Conductors: three, 16 AWG each

Material: solid-core OFC copper, 99.99999% pure, plated in silver

FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) insulation

Micro Mono-Filament construction with mechanically tuned lay and length

DC resistance: 4.0 Ohm for every 1000 feet

Propagation velocity of 85%

IEC-C15 on the equipment side, with figure-8 IEC-C7 as an alternative

Available with Schuko or Italian plug: please specify your choice in the order notes.

Available versions

The cable is available in lengths of 1 m, 2 m and 3 m.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/files/Lg-Heimdall2-Power-Cord-15A-EU-lightbox.jpg?v=1684143772
