The 10-inch concentric driver, the result of 18 months of research, has a paper-pulp cone that has to move very little to give a big, dynamic sound, and so forms a constant waveguide for the soft-dome tweeter of 1.25 inches mounted at its centre, which comes into play at 1.6 kHz. The Twin-Drive neodymium magnet system creates a symmetrical field to reduce intermodulation distortion.

The cabinet has MDF walls 1 inch thick, two internal braces and a faceted front panel in 2-inch MDF, finished in satin black, which limits diffraction. The fabric grilles are magnetic. With 91 dB of sensitivity and 8 Ohm nominal, 30 W are enough to drive them, with valve or transistor amplifiers.

Technical features

Configuration: two-way, bass reflex

Drivers: 10-inch concentric unit, soft-dome tweeter of 1.25 inches

Frequency response: 42 Hz - 30 kHz

Sensitivity: 91 dB (2.83 V, 1 m)

Nominal impedance: 8 Ohm

Crossover frequency: 1.6 kHz

Power: 30 W recommended minimum, 200 W maximum input

Dimensions: width 368 mm, height 572 mm, depth 422 mm with grille (406 mm without)

Weight: 21 kg each

Available versions

Sold as a pair, in Walnut finish, with real wood veneer, without stands.
