Inside there is a 21 cm woofer with an Iris IP cone and an M-profile aluminium inverted-dome tweeter. IP55 certified and treated against UV rays.

The built-in transformer allows use on a 70 or 100 V line: several loudspeakers in a chain cover large spaces, such as terraces and gardens, with few amplifier channels and no loss of power.

Focal developed the Iris IP membrane for the outdoors: polypropylene with injected carbon fibres, stiff, dynamic and resistant to water, dust and UV rays.
