The class D output stage, with power factor correction (PFC), delivers 130 W RMS per channel into 4 and 8 Ohm loads; bridged in mono it reaches 250 W RMS into 8 Ohm. A 100 V mode allows it to be used with 100 V speakers to bring sound to large spaces.

It connects to the Internet over Wi-Fi or Ethernet and gives access to Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music and the web radio stations of TuneIn and iHeartRadio; AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Bluetooth 5.1 and the multiroom function complete the network side. The ESS Sabre ES9023 DAC accepts high-resolution formats up to 24-bit and 192 kHz. The HDMI ARC input takes the sound from the television and lets the volume be adjusted from the TV remote control; there are also an RCA input, a subwoofer output and trigger sockets, both in and out. An optional front panel makes it possible to fit two Connect 2130 Xi units in a standard rack.

Technical features

Power: 2 x 130 W RMS into 4 and 8 Ohm

Bridged mono: 250 W RMS and 500 W peak into 8 Ohm

Harmonic distortion: below 0.003 %

Signal-to-noise ratio: over 119 dB; damping factor 350

Converter: ESS Sabre ES9023 DAC, up to 24-bit / 192 kHz

Network and streaming: Wi-Fi, Ethernet (LAN), Bluetooth 5.1, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, UPnP, DLNA

Connections: HDMI ARC input, RCA input, subwoofer output, trigger in and out

Overall size: 215 mm, 44.5 mm and 220 mm

Weight: 2 kg
