The 21 cm mid-bass driver has a cellulose fibre cone, while the treble section uses a 25 mm silk dome that can be aimed to direct the sound towards the listening area, depending on where the speaker is mounted.

According to the manufacturer it suits most hi-fi and home cinema amplifiers. In a home cinema room it can serve as a surround channel or add the height dimension required by immersive multichannel formats; otherwise it works as background sound in homes, shops, restaurants, hotels, schools and conference rooms. The supplied white grille is held in place by magnets and can be painted to blend in with the ceiling. The speaker is sold individually.

Technical features

Type: two-way coaxial in-ceiling speaker

Mid-bass driver: 21 cm, cellulose fibre cone

Tweeter: 25 mm silk dome, adjustable

Frequency response: from 55 Hz to 20 kHz

Sensitivity: 87 dB

Maximum power handling: 125 W

Grille: white, magnetic, paintable, supplied

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/5278/7645/files/elipson-architect-in-ic8-con-griglia.jpg?v=1791453725
