Its DSP holds an acoustic profile for each of the supported models: once the right one is chosen on the display, the response of the subwoofer blends with that of the loudspeakers, so that a two-way system becomes a three-way one. With other loudspeakers, including those of other brands, crossover frequency, gain and phase are set by hand.

Two MSP+ Hybrid Drive units, developed specifically for subwoofers, are mounted at opposite ends of the sealed enclosure, wider than it is deep so as to sit better against a wall. They have an aluminium cone, damped with paper on the back and with an MSP cap on the front. The 500 W amplifier is in the base. The feature set is completed by a delay calculated from the distance to the loudspeakers, a three-filter parametric equaliser against room modes and firmware updates.

Technical features

Active subwoofer in a sealed enclosure, 500 W amplifier

Two 23 cm MSP Hybrid Drive woofers

Response from 16 to 230 Hz within 3 dB

Inputs: two balanced XLR and two unbalanced RCA

Low-pass adjustable or from profile, high-pass adjustable

Phase at 0 or 180 degrees, automatic switch-on and switch-off

447 x 300 x 268 mm (W x H x D), 21.5 kg

Available versions

Sold individually, in Black and White satin lacquer finishes.
