The two Esotec+ mid-woofers have MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) cones formed from a single piece, glued to the glass-fibre former of the coil beneath the Balance Ribs. The 52 mm voice coils are aluminium, the spiders are aramid fibre and the surround, derived from the Contour series, allows a long throw.
