Bandwidth reaches 40Gbps with HDR, and ALLM (auto low latency mode) and VRR (variable refresh rate) also pass through, both useful for gaming. Switching between the two inputs happens on its own, when the splitter senses the 5 V of a newly connected source or a fresh TMDS signal, or by hand with the IR remote supplied or the front buttons. Audio can be taken out on an analogue output and an optical S/PDIF output, to bring in an amplifier or sound system. It handles HDCP 2.3 and offers advanced EDID management.

Key features

Two selectable HDMI 2.1 inputs, four HDMI outputs

At 10-bit: 8K 60Hz in 4:2:0, 8K 30Hz in 4:4:4, 4K 120Hz in 4:4:4

Bandwidth up to 40Gbps with HDR

ALLM and VRR support

Automatic switching by sensing 5 V or the TMDS signal

Bitstream of multichannel surround audio, object-based formats included

Connections

Two HDMI Type A inputs and four outputs, an analogue audio output on a 3.5 mm stereo jack, an optical S/PDIF output, a 3.5 mm stereo jack for the IR receiver and a micro-USB for updates.
