The built-in scaler raises or lowers the resolution to suit the display, with output up to 4K 30 Hz. Besides matrix distribution and video wall use, both with a Gigabit switch, the unit also works as a plain point-to-point or point-to-multipoint extender with no switch, thanks to its LAN pass-through port. Power comes from the switch via PoE or from a local 24-56 V adapter, sold separately. It is used in commercial and residential settings.

Key features

Four modes: matrix, video wall, one-to-one and one-to-many extender

Video upscaling and downscaling, output up to 4K 30 Hz

Multichannel bitstream audio, object-based formats included

Video, audio, IR, RS-232 and USB/KVM each routed independently

Stereo analogue audio output on RCA

HDCP 2.2 with advanced EDID handling

PoE draw of 7 W typical, 8.3 W at most

Connections

Network input on RJ45 plus a second RJ45 for signal extension; HDMI type A output; two RCA sockets for left and right analogue audio; 3-pole Phoenix for RS-232; two USB type A for KVM; 3.5 mm minijacks for IR in and out; micro-USB for firmware updates.
